Derek Thomas was born in Plaistow on February 05, 1950. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.

April 1st each year (April Fools Day) is difficult remembering Derek who was on holiday in the District District. That morning I received a postcard saying that he was having a good holiday but on that day he had died following a fellwalking accident on Helvelyn
